Agreement to Our Legal Terms

We are Ridgeback Investigations LLC, doing business as Ridgeback Investigations (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”), a company registered in Michigan, United States at 2222 W. Grand River Ave, Ste A, Okemos, MI 48864.

We operate the website https://www.ridgebackinvestigations.com (the “Site”), as well as any other related products and services that refer or link to these legal terms (the “Legal Terms”) (collectively, the “Services”).

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE LEGAL TERMS, THEN YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM USING THE SERVICES AND YOU MUST DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY.

Supplemental terms and conditions or documents that may be posted on the Services from time to time are hereby expressly incorporated herein by reference. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to make changes or modifications to these Legal Terms at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the “Last updated” date of these Legal Terms, and you waive any right to receive specific notice of each such change. It is your responsibility to periodically review these Legal Terms to stay informed of updates. 4. Purchases and Payment

We accept the following forms of payment: Check.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made via the Services. Sales tax will be added to the price of purchases as deemed required by us. We may change prices at any time. All payments shall be in US dollars. We reserve the right to refuse any order placed through the Services.

5. Policy

All sales are final and no refund will be issued.

6. Prohibited Activities

You may not access or use the Services for any purpose other than that for which we make the Services available. The Services may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavors except those that are specifically endorsed or approved by us. Prohibited activities include systematically retrieving data to build a collection or database without permission; tricking, defrauding, or misleading us or other users; circumventing security features; disparaging or harming us or the Services; using information from the Services to harass or harm another person; uploading viruses or other malicious code; engaging in automated use of the system; and interfering with or creating an undue burden on the Services.

The Services do not offer users the ability to submit or post content publicly. If we provide such functionality, any Contributions you make must comply with the representations and warranties set out in these Legal Terms, including that they do not infringe third-party rights and are not false, misleading, obscene, harassing, or otherwise objectionable.

8. Contribution License

You and we agree that we may access, store, process, and use any information and personal data that you provide following the terms of the Privacy Policy and your choices. We do not assert any ownership over your Contributions. You retain full ownership of all of your Contributions.

The Services may contain links to other websites (“Third-Party Websites”) as well as Third-Party Content. We are not responsible for any Third-Party Websites or Third-Party Content, and inclusion of or linking to them does not imply approval or endorsement. If you access Third-Party Websites or use Third-Party Content, you do so at your own risk.

10. Services Management

We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to monitor the Services for violations of these Legal Terms; take legal action against violators; refuse, restrict, or disable Contributions; remove burdensome content; and otherwise manage the Services to protect our rights and property.

We reserve the right to change, modify, or remove the contents of the Services at any time or for any reason at our sole discretion without notice. We cannot guarantee the Services will be available at all times and will not be liable for any interruption or discontinuance.

14. Governing Law

These Legal Terms and your use of the Services are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any legal action brought by either party shall be commenced or prosecuted in the state and federal courts located in Ingham, Michigan, and the parties consent to such jurisdiction and venue.

16. Corrections

There may be information on the Services that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. We reserve the right to correct any errors and to change or update information at any time, without prior notice.

17. Disclaimer

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN AS-IS AND AS-AVAILABLE BASIS. YOU AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES WILL BE AT YOUR SOLE RISK. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICES AND YOUR USE THEREOF.

18. Limitations of Liability

IN NO EVENT WILL WE OR OUR DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

19. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from and against any loss, damage, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of your use of the Services, your breach of these Legal Terms, or your violation of the rights of a third party.

We will maintain certain data that you transmit to the Services for the purpose of managing the performance of the Services. You are solely responsible for all data that you transmit. You agree that we shall have no liability to you for any loss or corruption of any such data.

24. Miscellaneous

These Legal Terms and any policies or operating rules posted by us constitute the entire agreement between you and us. Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision shall not operate as a waiver. If any provision is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision is severable and does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
